The flower principle

Thought I’d treat myself to a little outing to Hey Susy today. And look what I found.  These wonderful shots by Steven Meisel were featured in Vogue in 2003.  Now this is what I call style.  As Susy says, ‘Creativity and Imagination…despite a run in your stockings, a threadbare coat, crow’s feet, or chipped nail polish…conquers ALL.’

I reckon she wouldn’t mind me borrowing the shots. On the grounds I need all the help I can get with blog photographs, and because of my very own ‘flower principle’.  Which, briefly stated, goes:  it’s our duty never to let a flower blush unseen (apols to Thomas Gray), so if you see a flower in a garden that the owner is not admiring at that very instant, pluck it tout de suite.  Read Susy’s 9 Feb post here.
