The knitting on a plane thing is my current cause-to-be-angry-about. At what point did any terrorist attack take place with knitting needles? Or crochet hooks, for that matter (a friend had some confiscated)? I think that idle knitters are more dangerous than those with needles in their hands. Fortunately I read and play video games as well, but how long until someone rigs an Nintendo DS to blow up a plane? I’ve also heard the airlines are considering banning hardback books. It’s ridiculous, and I hope someone in charge grows a brain soon.
