Someone on the weekend asked me why I don’t have my name on this blog, and I realised it was time to do it. When I started this blog almost two years I wanted to write as unselfconsciously as possible so I wrote using only a blog title. As time’s passed I’ve got more comfortable about owning what I write and think, and though it still freaks me out a bit to contemplate current and potential business clients reading my deepest thoughts and feelings, I reckon I can handle it.
My name is Narelle Hanratty.

My super-talented friend Patrick was recently in New York and he found the sister of the art work, “Our magic hour” that I wrote about here. Both are by the New York-based artist, Ugo Rondinone.

Hi Narelle–Nice to meet you! Thanks very much for the kind comments on CUE Haven. Let us know the next time you come across the ditch and you can see it first hand. Regards, Thomas.
oh huh, ‘nother confession … my one and only experience of across the ditch is Auckland airport. All I remember is shops of ugg boots. Would love to pay a visit; am rather ruthless on weeds. hey, do you take orders for memorial plantings? sort of by remote? xx
You’re right, there are more retail shops at Auckland airport than there are departure gates.
Yes, we are happy to do remote memorial plantings. We are in the process of putting together the infrastructure with things like PayPal, etc. I’ll let you know when we are ready to go.
Thanks!
Great! Ta.
brilliant name for a brilliant author!
