You were in paradise, but you didn’t recognise it. It’s the same with most people in this world; they seek suffering in the most joyous of places because they think they are unworthy of happiness.

  1. One cannot deny that some occupy places which are not the most joyous. What then?

What passes for Paradise may be only a peep-hole into true Paradise. If too many seek the same peep-hole it is impossible to share.

Each, then, to his – or her – own.

  2. I, and a few others here, I guess, occupy a place of safety and security from where it is easy to become smug and self-satisfied and to moralise.

My admiration goes to those who abandon privilege and peaceably risk their lives in places of danger. They possess a courage and a vision of Paradise beside which mine are nothing.

  3. You know, I had a dream a couple of weeks ago and this is exactly what it was telling me. “Paradise is available to all, here, now.” Of course, since it was my dream, it was reminding me that Paradise is available to me! (I tend to forget.)
