This action matters and this and this …

“It’s the action, not the fruit of the action, that’s important. You have to do the right thing. It may not be in your power, may not be in your time, that there’ll be any fruit. But that doesn’t mean you stop doing the right thing. You may never know what results come from your action. But if you do nothing, there will be no result.”

    • Hi Diahann. Well said.

I’ve been riveted by your blog. The courage, power, insights are extraordinary. I would like every Australian woman to read it. There’s such a level of constraint here, such an absence of full self-expression. I see it everywhere, in our bodies, in our speaking, in our walking, in our sitting, in our possibilities. Virtually zero recognition of the sources of this constraint: the stories we’ve made up about ourselves and the fact we continue to give our “yes” (without thought, without question) to social agreements that don’t serve us.

      • Thank you, Narelle. I’m really happy to hear that my blog resonates with you. It’s so interesting what you shared because I hadn’t realized there were similar challenges for the women in Australia. Then again, I suppose that one looking from afar at the US might assume the same about the women here. Granted, in many ways we have freedoms that we didn’t before (and appear so much freer than women in so many other countries) yet there are still all these constraints that remain. I’m with you in that the breaking free is possible and, in my opinion, essential.

I look forward to reading more of your work!
